could you look at my cover letter and modify it to nicely?
hello i am not good at using english and it is hard for me to write a resume myself. and since it is too urgent, i need your help. and hope you make it to better sentences.

To Whom It May Concern,
Hello, my name is Jerry, and I am so happy to apply for this job.
When I read an official announcement, I immediately feel that it is right for me
I have a strong interest in the marketing field. As a result, I worked as a marketing assistance in Sydney. Also I attended Marketing classes in school, and attended Marketing School at KT&G in May~June and luckily, our proposal won a competition which is held at the end of the every class. The meaning of the award was great for me because I could win between good students.

As I am so interested in marketing, my idol is Howard Schultz, who is a CEO at STAR BUCKS. I highly appreciate his marketing strategy, as it led him to success in the world market. My dream is to be a Marketing Manager, and I am trying to achieve this goal gradually. I am also very proficient with using a Microsoft programs since I was in the Army Administration Department as an accountant for 2 years.

Dear Search Committee,

Please consider my qualifications as you select candidates for [Position]. I am so happy this opportunity has developed and I feel you will be well satisfied if I am fortunate enough to be selected.

I am a student of the field of marketing having been introduced to the art while I was the Marketing Assistant to [bosses' title'] at [Company] in Sydney. I have attended some marketing seminars at [school] under the distinguished lecturers [list teachers]. I also attended a two month marketing seminar at KT&G. I should note that the cap stone of that course is a competition and my team won. I am also a close observer of Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, and have come to apprreciate his approach to global marketing. I hope to some day be a Marketing Manager and I know my goal and ambition will suit your needs. I realize that this type of work includes paperwork and reports and so I note that I am proficient in Microsoft Office programs, having used them extensively at the Army’s Administration Department.

In closing, I appreciate your time and the opportunity to communicate with you and I look forward to hearing from you. I have provided my phone number and email if you wish to contact me.

{ed note: the resume should not talk so much about you but what you are going to do for them}

Sincerely,

Jerry XXXXX

I am so happy * Don’t use "so"

When i read an official announcement, i immediately FELT that it WAS the right job for me. *Keep your tenses straight

I have always had a strong interest…… I worked as a …. *again, your tenses

…. which is held at the end of every class *not at the end of the every class. I don’t know what you’re trying to say there

I highly appreciate… should be I profoundly appreciate *highly is not a very good adverb

…. and I am GRADUALLY trying to achieve this goal. *placing gradually at the end reduces emphasis and makes the sentence a bit awkward.

I am also very proficient with Microsoft programs *It was a sentence fragment.

Also, add a closing statement.

this is the wrong place to do this - you need to discuss it with someone who does this professionally

You need a resume / CV too which would help to formulate your cover letter and what you need to put in it.

Are you sure you want to go in to marketing?

Writing a letter and resume IS marketing - marketing YOU!

If you need help with it then maybe you need to think again about your career.

Maybe you dont have to write letters and resumes in Korea?
